Mina Myoui (名井南 Myōi Mina), also known as Mina (Hangul: 미나), best known as one of the members of the sensational girl group TWICE under JYP Entertainment.

In 2013, Mina was scouted by a JYP Entertainment staff while shopping with her mother. She passed the JYP Japan Audition and moved to South Korea as an official idol trainee.

She has the shortest period of time in training before debuting as a TWICE member.

Mina only took 1 year of trainee period before debuting. She participated in the survival show SIXTEEN where she ranked fourth place, made her debuted as member of TWICE on October 20, 2015, with the extended play (EP) The Story Begins.

Mina was actually born in the United States - San Antonio, Texas. Both of her parents are Japanese and she moved to back to Japan not too long after turning 3, but her family was there for her father's work when she was born. This is why TWICE often jokes about her being their US Resident (which, legally, she is), but she left too early before ever learning much English.
