2012–2019: 9MUSES, sub-units, solo debut

Gyeongree was introduced as the newest member of 9MUSES during a group performance in Abu Dhabi. She made her official debut as a member on January 10, 2012 with the group's second digital single "News".

She debuted as a member of the trio NASTY NASTY with future group member Sojin and ZE:A's Kevin on September 3, 2014 with their single "Knock".

Gyeongree debuted as a member of 9MUSES' first sub-unit, 9MUSES A, on August 4, 2016.

On February 11, 2019, Star Empire Entertainment announced that 9MUSES would disband after nine years of activities. The group officially disbanded on February 24th following a final fan meeting and the release of the digital single "Remember".

She made her solo debut on July 5, 2018 with her first digital single "Blue Moon".

On July 30, 2019, Star Empire Entertainment announced her departure from agency after the expiration of her contract.

2020: New agency

On January 6, 2020, YNK Entertainment announced that Gyeongree had signed on with the agency.

Relationship

On November 12, 2019, local news channel SBS funE reported that Gyeongree and 2AM's Jeong Jinwoon were dating. Later that day, Jeong Jinwoon's label MYSTIC Story confirmed the pair have been dating since late 2017. However, on May 24, 2021, it was revealed that they had broken up recently.
