The mini album was firstly announced on BoA's and SM's SNS on November 8 at 0AM KST. The album count with three versions: Forgive ver., Hate ver. and Digipack ver. The teasers packs were revealed from November 14 to 17.

A teaser for the music video of "Forgive Me" was released on November 21 at 12AM KST. BoA held a countdown live on November 22 at 5PM KST.

Forgive Me sold 3,417 copies in its first day of release and 11,154 copies in its first week on Hanteo.

Circle Chart reported that Forgive Me sold 18,233 copies in the month of November.
