Commercial performance
On April 11, YG PLUS revealed that Unforgiven had reached 1.03 million pre-orders. On April 29, YG PLUS gave an updated statement and revealed that the album had reached 1.38 million pre-orders.
On May 1, Hanteo Chart reported that UNFORGIVEN had sold 1,024,034 copies in its first day of release, setting both a personal and industry record for highest first-day sales by any female artist in the chart's history.
