Geenius "Voyage" (Debut)

Geenius (지니어스) is a girl group consisting of five members, namely Yeyoung, Sion, Mika, Zoe, and Andamiro. The group is signed under HOMe, which is a sub-label of Sure Place. Prior to their current name, Geenius was known as Bebez (베베즈) and was affiliated with BlockBerry Creative. The members have been preparing for their debut since 2018. Finally, on January 5, 2024, at 12:00 KST, they made their official debut with the release of their single album titled Voyage.

Yeyoung, the first member to be revealed, was born in Seoul, South Korea. She is a former trainee of The Black Label and Polaris Entertainment. Fluent in both Korean and English, she is also learning Japanese. Yeyoung participated in Girls Planet 999 but was eliminated on Episode 8, aired on September 24, 2021. She was recognized for her exceptional vocal abilities on the show.

Sion, from Daegu, South Korea, was the second member revealed. She is a former trainee of Polaris and Mystic Story and graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul. Sion speaks Korean and is learning English and Japanese. She participated in Girls Planet 999 but was eliminated on Episode 5 aired on September 3, 2021.

Zoe, also known as Gloria Choi, was born and raised in Milan, Lombardy, Italy. Despite having Korean parents, she grew up in Italy. She joined as the fifth and final member of her group. Zoe had previously auditioned for MIXNINE and made it through, but was later eliminated in the 10th episode, ranking at #39. She also participated in the Polaris Junior trainee program.

Andamiro was the third member to be revealed and a Polaris Entertainment trainee. She is close to former Stars Awakening trainee Kim Gawon. She graduated from SOPA's Practical Dance department in 2022 alongside Kim Dayeon from Kep1er and Kim Yegang from Street Dance Girls Fighter. She also took dance classes at BI Dance Academy.

On December 20, 2023, Sure Place agency announced the debut of a new girl group named Geenius. They also opened their own SNS accounts and teased their upcoming debut. The next day, they introduced the members and revealed their debut date as January 5, 2024 with the single album "Voyage." Before their debut, it was reported that the group was previously known as Bebez at BlockBerryCreative but left the agency and signed with Sure Place. However, shortly before their debut, it was clarified that their actual agency is HOMe.

On January 5, 2024, they finally unveiled their inaugural album titled "Voyage".
